Vacancy: Community Sports Coach

The Iron Foundation are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual to lead on a varied programme of delivery, including but not limited to; primary school PE sessions, lunch time and after school clubs, half-term football camps. Please note that all suitable candidates will be subject to satisfactory references and Enhanced DBS procedures. Please let us know if there are any alternative arrangements which need to be made to help you during the application and interview process.

About the role:

The candidate will be passionate about providing primary aged children with positive experiences in sport and PE. Their role will be to deliver on our extensive range of primary school sport programmes, during curriculum time Physical Education lessons and accompanying lunch time and after school sport clubs. At times, they will be required to work on our holiday football camps, where children spend full days playing football and learning new skills, making new friends in a safe, structured environment. You will need to plan and deliver sports sessions to cater to all different abilities and will need to change your sessions quickly to suit the needs of our participants. Applicants should have a good knowledge and understanding of youth engagement and knowledge and experience delivering high quality sports sessions.
