Pre 16 Education Development Manager (Part Time)

We are seeking to appoint a proven experienced and self-motivated manager who will
further develop The Iron Foundation’s pre 16 education offer ensuring an innovative and
high-quality education offer to prepare all learners for their next steps.
You will join a strong committed team and as such, there will be a focus on developing
relationships, partnership working and collaborative working across all North Lincolnshire
schools, wider partnerships and other organisations.
The successful candidate will not only be able to build on our current success but also bring
new business and external funding to support the growth and sustainability objectives of the
Foundations education arm.
The overall purpose of the job is:

  • To provide effective leadership, management and co-ordination of assigned
    functions of The Iron Foundation’s education provision, e.g. alternative
    provision and the EYFS & Key Stage 1-4 offer, utilising sport as the catalyst.
  • As a senior manager, ensure a focus on sustainable growth and customer
    satisfaction, ensuring the offer is inclusive and improves outcomes aligned to
    local strategic and organisational priorities.
  • Responsible for the design, preparation and delivery of a range of education
    and learning programmes and projects which meet the needs of targeted
    learners across North Lincolnshire.

You will need to hold qualified teacher status and have substantial experience in leading,
developing and managing teaching and learning activities across a range of learner ages,
including those disengaged or underachieving, developing solutions and overcoming
barriers. You will have experience and a proven track record in securing external funding
and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of
stakeholders, developing a positive personal and organisational profile
The vacancy is advertised as part time and requires a degree of flexibility and adaptivity to
suit business needs, including evening and weekend work.
